Eye Camp is organized from time to tome especially in rural areas to conduct major and minor operations with the help of eminent Eye Specialists for a few days to treat the eye patients of a particular location. The camp often moves from place to place to cover more beneficiaries and locations. Poor patients are served free of cost while well off families may avail the service on payment of reasonable costs.

Under the initiative of DDEF, cataract surgery is done completely free of cost to the poor.
This year 41 such patients were operated free of charge. Moreover, 121 people have been provided with free eye medicine and spectacles under the initiative of DDEF.
