Objectives

The specific objectives of DDEF are :

  • To support and uplift underprivileged and vulnerable population, particularly persons with disabilities—including those with autism—as well as vulnerable women and distressed children at the grassroots level in Bangladesh.
  • To contribute to the improvement of the social and economic conditions of underserved and unserved communities by fostering a peaceful and inclusive development environment.
  • To promote the empowerment of women and youth within local communities through capacity-building initiatives and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
DDEF BD
  • To extend moral and material support to the poor and needy, enabling them to live with dignity in alignment with human rights and spiritual values.
  • To advocate for the rights of minority communities and provide necessary support to ensure their inclusion and protection in society.
  • To deliver primary healthcare services and shelter support for impoverished individuals and children with disabilities.
  • To reduce poverty through need-based and rights-focused programs designed with the active participation of community stakeholders, while also promoting the rehabilitation and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
