Objectives
The specific objectives of DDEF are :
To support and uplift underprivileged and vulnerable population, particularly persons with disabilities—including those with autism—as well as vulnerable women and distressed children at the grassroots level in Bangladesh.
To contribute to the improvement of the social and economic conditions of underserved and unserved communities by fostering a peaceful and inclusive development environment.
To promote the empowerment of women and youth within local communities through capacity-building initiatives and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
To extend moral and material support to the poor and needy, enabling them to live with dignity in alignment with human rights and spiritual values.
To advocate for the rights of minority communities and provide necessary support to ensure their inclusion and protection in society.
To deliver primary healthcare services and shelter support for impoverished individuals and children with disabilities.
To reduce poverty through need-based and rights-focused programs designed with the active participation of community stakeholders, while also promoting the rehabilitation and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
